What we loved most about this HyperX mouse is it has been extremely well designed as comes its ergonomic design and comfortability to use. One of the important features of this design is that for hours of use you won’t feel pain in your fingers or strain on your hand. It also comes due to its good grip.

When it comes to its design HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 design is ergonomically well which suits every setting which measures around 3.81 x 6.6 x 11.68cm and has 1.80m cable which is of course branded. While it weighs around 61g. So almost similar features we have seen in high-end mice which are trending these days and released recently but what separates it from others is its price point which is way better and very low despite all the greatness it comes with.

HyperX Pulsefire 2 has an impressive 26K sensor which built into this mouse that can gave us DPI presets of 400, 800, 1600 and 3200 with the resolution of 26K and not to mention its 650 IPS tracking speed which is a massive specification for a low-priced mouse like this. Of course all these numbers make this mouse exceptional and one of a kind in many ways.

The mouse showed very low friction which is an other feature to go for it as it has PTFE skates attached to it. There are extra PTFE skates that come in the package along with 4 pieces of grip tape

#4 Lifespan

HypeX Haste 2 has a lifespan of 100 million clicks which is again a trait of trendy gaming mice these days. It also provides tactile gaming movement and its feedbacks are audible.

#5 Mouse Sensitivity

It can report as many as 8,000 in a single second as DPI (Dots Per Inch) measures its sensitivity and its reported position is shown through polling rate to the gaming pc.

#6 High Customization

We can customise its RGB colours, create our own DPI presets and play around with its polling rate or adjust the existing DPI presets as we already have mentioned that HyperX is a highly customizable gaming mouse. All these things are possible to do. Its NGENUITY software is very functional to that on Windows.

i) RGB – As we change our DPI it also changes RGB and it shines around the scroll wheel well you can turn it off as we did. But on the downside it’s not as good as it sounds.

ii) NGENUITY provided us with various profiles. But that’s all we could do. It does not allow more than one profile to use as we cannot store them onboard. There should have been storage for profiles which is a bit off putting to many gamers. So what we did was we installed the profiles on our gaming PC after flashing them on the drive.

HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 comes on a budget at the price of $59.99 while we can buy a wireless model at $89 which empowers every single gamer on the planet from Facebook gaming to Twitch to easily afford it and use it. So this range makes it all very affordable like we have mentioned many times about it in this post.

#7 Drawbacks

It comes in just two colors which we believe is a big let down. The online gamers like to have multicolored mice these days which fit to their gaming rooms as most of the time they play live and their studios are facing cameras. Besides, its RGB lights are very low-lit so it’s kind of a shortcoming as well. As we like this feature to be customizable or at least moderately available so that they lit the gaming rooms well.

One of the biggest feature-specific things which would make this mouse more usable is if we could store more profiles.

And there’s no way you can find a great gaming mouse at this price point. So over all HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 is worth everyone’s shot especially those who are streaming their games live like on Twitch, YouTube or Facebook etc.
